As part of the research for “The Internet is Magic” (the working title for my new book), I made a goal of reading 200 books in 2017 and publishing my notes as I go. Back when I was working on “Social Media is Bullshit”, I put all my notes in Del.ico.us, which Yahoo! then purchased and basically killed. And since you all can’t access my Evernote account, this seemed like a good way to share my research for the new book in a way that’s fun and beneficial to you.
You Should Know
Not every book is going to get a write-up. If I think it sucked, I’m going to finish reading it but skip the write-up.
Books in bold are books I think you should purchase for your own purposes.
Note: I did not do a write-up for Tools of Titans because I took waaaaaay too many notes. The book is great. You should buy a copy and read it once a year.
I also skipped doing notes for the audio books because I was listening to them, usually, at times where my notebook was not handy. Time permitting, I may buy the print editions and circle back to them later.
